Drew is a leading figure in the tidal energy sector, bringing over 36 years of global business experience, including 17 years in marine energy. As CEO of PMR since October 2022, he focuses on driving company growth through reliable technology innovation and enablement of local supply, with PMR already active in multiple countries.
Drew has spearheaded pioneering initiatives such as the development of the largest output single rotor tidal turbine and the launch of Japan’s first MW-class tidal energy system.
During his distinguished career of global leadership roles, Drew has advanced the state of the tidal energy market with PMR technology contributing around 25% of the total EU/UK tidal energy production to date. He holds an MBA (Valedictorian) and a Bachelor of Engineering with honours.

Tom is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in organizational transformation, digitization, and customer success. As Director of Products and Services at PMR, Tom focuses on enhancing operational effectiveness and preparing the company for growth in the evolving Tidal Generation Market. Throughout his career, Tom has driven the implementation of digital solutions for multinational organizations, earning a reputation for accelerating time to value through innovation and transformation. His expertise has been key in streamlining operations and maximizing outcomes in complex environments. Tom holds a BaSC in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Robbert is a finance expert with over 15 years of experience in the Energy industry. Since becoming Group Finance Director at PMR in 2024, he has focused on driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic growth. As part of the Executive Management Group, he plays a key role in aligning financial strategies with PMR's innovation goals.
Previously, Robbert was Vice President of Finance at a NYSE-listed company, where he led initiatives that enhanced financial success and streamlined processes. His expertise in financial strategy and management makes him a vital contributor to PMR’s vision for growth and leadership in marine renewable energy. Robbert is a member of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Nigel is a mechanical engineer who began his career as an apprenticeship as a machine fitter in 1981, before earning his first-class honours degree from UMIST in 1988. He spent the first half of his career in the food processing and packaging sector, developing innovative products to reduce costs while enhancing system availability, hygiene, operator access, market share, and profit margins.
In 2007, Nigel shifted to emerging marine renewable energy, providing consultancy for wave and tidal energy devices, including due diligence, performance data assessment, design advice and techno economic modelling. Since 2013, his focus has been on making tidal energy cost-effective. Currently, he leads the development of Proteus’s AR3000 turbine, overseeing its pitch control approach, value engineering, and performance projections.

Nihal is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a PhD in dynamics and control. He specializes in systems engineering, design management, procurement, and product verification, with a strong background in engineering and program management.
With 15 years in the marine industry, including 9 years in tidal energy, he brings extensive cross-functional leadership experience.

Philip, PhD, has over 13 years of experience in the tidal sector and has delivered complex, multimillion-pound EPC contracts. Philip's multidisciplinary engineering knowledge and management expertise allows him to cover all aspects of project lifecycles from contract formulation right through to successful delivery.
With a strong foundation in analytical thinking, programming, and mathematical modeling, Philip is known for solving challenging technical problems and addressing intricate project requirements. His attention to detail and commitment to high standards consistently lead to successful project execution, meeting client expectations and industry benchmarks. Philip's strategic approach goes beyond technical proficiency, focusing on managing risks, optimizing performance, and delivering value to exceed project expectations.

Ryan is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 14 years of experience in renewable energy systems, both on and offshore. He began his career as an apprentice machinist for precision tooling applications, before moving on to study and earning a BEng honors degree in Mechanical Engineering. After 4 years in the wind industry, Ryan shifted to tidal energy, working with key industry players on complex design and operational challenges. At Proteus he leads Production and Operations, ensuring products are assembled, tested and delivered to the highest standards demanded by the industry.
Offshore, Ryan manages a bespoke team through planning, installation, recovery and decommissioning of tidal renewable energy devices, often requiring novel thinking to execute challenging and time critical operations in high-flow tidal sites.
